Rated rigging hardware: eye bolts, lifting points, turnbuckles, swivels and connectors, the fittings that join slings to loads.
A plain (uncollared) eye bolt is only for a straight, in-line pull along the axis of its thread. The moment the pull comes off-axis, you need a collared eye bolt, also sold as a shoulder eye bolt, and even collared eyes lose capacity fast as the angle grows. Where loads swing or the sling angle can't be controlled, a swivel lifting point that aligns itself with the pull is the better fitting.
Rigging fittings for lifting carry a working load limit, a grade and a maker's mark. A commercial turnbuckle or unmarked eye bolt from a general hardware run may look identical and hold nothing like the same load, and it has no published rating for anyone to check. If it isn't marked, it doesn't lift.
A rig is only as strong as its weakest fitting. Match component ratings through the whole chain of connections: the master link, the sling, the shackle, the lifting point on the load. One undersized connector sets the limit for the whole lift, whatever the sling tag says.

Manufacturer's published figures for collared lifting eye bolts (Beaver). These are straight-pull numbers. Any angle on the pull cuts them hard, so check the maker's angle table before lifting off-axis, and treat an unmarked eye bolt as not rated.
A plain eye bolt, no. Straight in-line pulls only. A collared eye bolt can, at a heavily reduced working load limit the manufacturer publishes. For repeated angled or rotating loads, use a swivel lifting point instead.
An eye bolt is a fixed eye on a thread. A lifting point is a rated fitting designed for lifting from the outset, usually able to swivel or pivot toward the pull, so the load comes on the fitting the way it was designed to.
Only if it's a rated one with a marked working load limit. Commercial turnbuckles are for tensioning wire and staying put, not for suspended loads.
Clean, undamaged threads of the right size, screwed in to full engagement, with the collar seated square and flush on a flat bearing surface, shimmed if the surface isn't flat. Line the plane of the eye up with the direction of pull, and check the WLL for the angle you're pulling at, not just the straight-line figure.
