About this product
The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope Grip 3mm is a small saddle clamp used to form an eye or secure the tail on 3mm stainless wire rope. It is the smallest end of the range, sized specifically for 3mm wire, with an M4 U-bolt thread and overall dimensions of 24.5mm by 14.5mm, and a 15.8mm saddle. At 0.015kg it adds next to nothing to a rope run.
Made from Grade 316 stainless, the marine grade, so it handles salt spray and other harsh corrosive conditions better than lower grades. That makes it a sensible pick for boats, jetties and coastal work, and it also suits food and pharmaceutical processing. One thing to be clear on, this grip is not rated for lifting. Use it for balustrade, rope terminations and general non lifting jobs only.
