The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Carbine (Carabina) Hook 11mm is a spring gate snap hook for connecting ropes and fittings quickly by hand. At 11mm thick it is the heavier end of the range, measuring 120mm overall with a 58mm gate section, 16mm at C and 19mm at D. Weight is 0.18kg, so it stays easy to handle on a rope end or a lanyard.
Made from marine grade 316 stainless steel, it holds up where salt spray, washdown and chemicals would pit plated steel. Coastal work, boats and outdoor site gear all suit it. The gate is spring loaded, so it clips on one handed and closes behind you. Worth noting, this hook is not to be used for lifting applications. Keep it for connecting, restraint of loose gear and general rope work.
