The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Bow Shackle 12mm is a screw pin bow shackle for non-lifting connections in wet, salty and corrosive conditions. The 12mm body sits in the middle of the range, with a 27mm inside width, a 41mm bow and an overall length of 52.5mm, so it suits slightly heavier connections than the smaller sizes while still being easy to handle at 0.22kg.

Grade 316 stainless gives it high corrosion resistance, which is why it ends up on boats, jetties and anywhere coastal salt spray eats through plated gear. It also works in food and pharmaceutical processing, where the bright stainless finish is easier to keep clean. The pin comes right out, so you can connect and disconnect without fighting the shackle. Worth repeating, this shackle is not to be used for lifting.
