About this product
The Beaver Commercial Chain Swivels 6mm is an eye and eye swivel that lets a chain or rope turn freely instead of building up twist. At 6mm thickness it is the light end of the range, weighing just 0.06kg, so it suits small chain runs where a bigger swivel would be dead weight and overkill.
The galvanised finish gives it a bit of protection against moisture and general knock-about use outdoors. Worth being clear on one thing, this is a commercial grade fitting and it is not suitable for lifting applications. Use it for tethers, gates, signage, dog runs and similar jobs. If a load is going overhead or a person is anywhere near it, reach for rated lifting gear with a stamped working load limit instead.
