The Beaver Web Snatch Block 60mm is a steel block for redirecting or doubling the pull on webbing in towing and recovery work. It takes web between 50 and 56mm wide, running over a fully machined 60mm sheave on roller bearings so the strap tracks cleanly and moves without dragging. Working load limit is 750kg with a minimum breaking strain of 3,000kgs.
Solid all steel construction throughout, and at 2.68kg it is light enough to carry in a recovery kit without thinking twice. The side plates are shaped so you can feed webbing in and assemble the block by hand in the field. Each one carries an individual test serial number stamped on the identification plate, so you can trace it back when the gear gets inspected. Made to AS 2089.
