Beaver Chain Split Links 3.5mm in hot dipped galvanised give you a quick way to join or repair a length of chain without cutting in a new fitting. This is the smallest end of the range at 3.5mm thickness, so it suits light chain work where a heavier link would be overkill, things like fencing chain, gate runs and general property repairs.
Fitting is simple. Slip the link through both chain ends, then hammer the ends down or tack weld it closed so it stays put. The hot dipped galvanised coating puts a thicker barrier against rust and corrosion than electro galvanising, which makes it the better pick for chain left outdoors or anywhere damp.
