The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Hook and Eye Turnbuckle with Lock Nuts in 6mm is the tensioner you reach for on light wire and rope runs that need fine adjustment. This is the smallest thread in the range at M6, with a 163mm overall length, 90.5mm take-up and a body weighing just 0.08kg, so it suits balustrade wire, shade sails and fencing rather than heavy structural work.
One end carries a left-hand thread and the other a right-hand thread. Turn the frame and both ends draw in together, pulling tension on whatever it is rigged to. The lock nuts then hold that setting so it does not wind back on you. Made from marine grade 316 stainless steel, it stands up to salt air and other corrosive conditions. Not to be used for lifting applications.
