The Beaver Eye and Eye Commercial Turnbuckle in galvanised 20mm is a forged steel tensioner for straight, inline pulls on wire rope and chain assemblies. This is the 20mm size, with a 285mm body length, 28mm eye material and a 52mm eye opening, so it suits the heavier end of commercial tensioning rather than light stay work.
Adjustment runs from 605mm fully open down to 395mm closed, giving you 210mm of take-up once the assembly is rigged. Both ends are eyes, so it pins straight into shackles, thimbled rope ends or chain without needing a jaw. The hot dipped galvanised finish handles outdoor and coastal exposure better than bare steel, and an electro plated finish is also made in this pattern if that suits the job better.
