Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope - 7x19 6mm is a flexible marine grade rope for fixed rigging and light running work where rust is the enemy. Actual diameter is 6.4mm with a minimum breaking force of 21.01kN, so it steps up from the lighter sizes in the range without losing much handling. Right hand ordinary lay, and it comes in at roughly 17kg per 100m.
Grade 316 stainless handles salt water and harsher corrosive conditions better than G304, which is why it ends up on boats, jetties and anything in a coastal setting. It also suits waste management, food and pharmaceutical processing, plus outdoor balustrading where looks matter. The 7x19 construction is the versatile option, flexible enough for a boat winch or similar limited working rope duty.
