About this product
The Beaver Hook and Eye Commercial Turnbuckle in 20mm is a forged steel tensioner for taking up slack in wire rope and chain assemblies. This is the largest pull in the range, with a 20mm thread and a take-up from 400mm closed out to 595mm open, so you get close to 200mm of adjustment on a single fitting. Hook one end, shackle or pin the eye, then wind it up until the line sits where you want it.
Hot dipped galvanised inside and out, so it handles outdoor and coastal work without pitting up in a season. Key dimensions are 290mm body, 27.3mm, 53mm and 25.5mm across the fittings, at roughly 168kg per 100 pieces. Sizes and dimensions carry a plus or minus 10 percent tolerance. This is a commercial turnbuckle for straight inline tension only, not to be used for lifting.
