About this product
The Beaver 5T Pipe Lifter is a toggle type lifter for picking and placing cement or steel pipe. Drop it through the bore, let the toggle seat against the inside of the pipe wall, and you have a straight vertical pick without slinging around the outside of the pipe. Rated to 5T, so it covers most pipe sections crews handle on civil, water and drainage work.
It suits a range of pipe sizes rather than being tied to one diameter, which keeps things simple when the run changes size partway through a job. Hook on, pick, lower into the trench, release. Handy for pipelaying crews, precast yards and anyone setting pipe by crane or excavator. Check the toggle, body and lifting eye for wear or deformation before each shift, the same as any other item of lifting gear.
