The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Chain - Regular Link 6mm is a general purpose chain made from 316 grade stainless steel, built for corrosion resistance rather than lifting. The 6mm material size sits in the middle of the range, strong enough for gates, barriers, securing and restraint work, but still light enough to handle without gloves getting in the way. Link dimensions are 23.5mm F and 26mm R, and it runs at 137.3m/100kg.
Marine work is where 316 earns its keep. Salt air, spray and washdown all take their toll on plain steel, and this chain shrugs off far more of it. Use it for non lifting applications only.
