The Beaver G304 Stainless Steel Square Pad Eye 6mm gives you a fixed anchor point on a flat surface for tie-downs, shade sail lines, rope work and general fit-out jobs. It is the smallest and lightest option in this square pad eye range at 0.03kg, with a 40mm by 40.8mm plate, 2.5mm plate thickness and a 6mm eye. The mounting hole measures 5.3mm, so it takes a small fastener where space is tight.
Made from Grade 304 stainless steel, it handles outdoor and marine-adjacent use well and resists corrosion in most everyday conditions. Grade 304 does have its limits in harsher, more corrosive environments, so step up the material spec where exposure is severe. One thing to be clear on, this fitting is not to be used for lifting.
