The Beaver G50 Stainless Steel Eye Sling Hook With Safety Latch is the terminal fitting for a 5mm stainless chain sling, with a spring safety latch to keep the load where you put it. The 5mm size is the smaller of the two in the range, so it suits lighter chain assemblies and tighter connection points where a bigger hook simply will not sit right.
Made from Grade 50 stainless in Grade 316 material and tested in accordance with AS 4791. That combination is what makes it worth using around water treatment plants, waste management and food processing, where wet or washdown conditions chew through plated carbon steel. The eye takes a matching 5mm chain connection, and the latch should close cleanly every time. If it does not, take the hook out of service.
