The Beaver Lifting Collared Eyebolt Small Eye with Metric Thread 8mm is a screw-in lifting point for attaching a hook or shackle to a machine, mould or fabricated part. It is the smallest thread in the range, with an 8mm metric thread and a working load limit of 150kg, or 0.15t, in a straight vertical pull. Overall width is 33mm and total height is 36mm, so it suits light loads where there is not much room to work.
The collar seats flat against the load face, which is what lets the eyebolt take a limited angled pull, rated at 0.04 tonne transverse. Keep the pull in line with the eye wherever you can. Finish is zinc dichromate for general corrosion resistance, and the bolt weighs 0.06kg. This eyebolt complies to AS 2317.
