About this product

The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Carbine (Carabina) Eye Hook 12mm is a spring gate snap hook for connecting ropes and fittings quickly without tools. At 12mm thick and 140mm long, it is the heavier end of the range, with a 64mm body width, a 21mm gate opening and a 20mm fixed eye. It weighs 0.24kg.

Grade 316 marine stainless gives it high corrosion resistance, so it holds up around saltwater, wash down areas and other harsh conditions. The same material makes it a sensible pick for food and pharmaceutical processing gear. The large fixed eye takes rope or a shackle easily, and the spring loaded gate snaps shut on its own once you let go. Rinse it off after saltwater exposure and check the gate still closes cleanly before each use.
