About this product
The Beaver Lifting Collared Eyebolt Small Eye with Metric Thread 20mm is a screw-in lifting point for pulling loads off machinery, dies, moulds and fabricated parts. This size takes a 20mm metric thread and carries a working load limit of 1.2t in line, with 0.3t rated transverse when the collar is seated hard against the face of the load. Across the eye it measures 59mm wide with a 27mm eye bore, and the shank stands 65mm.
The collar is what does the work on angled pulls, so make sure it beds down flat and the thread is fully engaged before you take up the strain. The zinc dichromate finish gives it a bit of protection against corrosion in the yard and on site. At 0.38kg it is easy to carry a few in the toolbox. Complies to AS 2317.
