About this product
The Beaver Commercial Chain Swivels 12mm is an eye and eye swivel that lets a chain or rope turn freely instead of winding up on itself. It sits in the middle of the size range, so the 12mm body suits jobs where a lighter swivel would be overworked but a heavier one is more than you need. Galvanised finish throughout, and it tips the scales at 0.56kg.
Worth being clear on this one, it is a commercial fitting and it is not suitable for lifting applications. Use it for tie-downs, gates, anchor and mooring work, animal tethers, signage and anywhere a chain needs to spin without kinking. If the load is going overhead or off the ground, reach for a rated lifting swivel instead. Both eyes are closed, so it goes in line with shackles or connecting links rather than clipping on and off.
