The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Dee Shackle 5mm is a small screw pin dee shackle for corrosion prone connections where lifting is not involved. At 5mm diameter it is the light end of the range, with a 17mm and 11.3mm jaw dimensions and a weight of just 0.013kg, so it suits fine work where a bigger body would be clumsy.
Made from polished marine grade stainless steel in Grade 316, it handles salt air and washdown far better than plated carbon steel. Common uses include marine rigging, food and pharmaceutical processing areas, agricultural setups and shade sail fitouts. The screw pin means you can pin and unpin it by hand on site. One thing to be clear on, this shackle is not to be used for lifting.
