The Beaver Vertical Drum Lifting Clamps 0.5t is a lifting clamp for picking up lidded drums in the upright position. It grips the rolled rim of the drum, so the load stays vertical from hook-up to set-down. With a working load limit of 0.5t, it covers a full 200L drum of most liquids without fuss.
Body is high tensile steel and the clamp stands 470mm tall, at a handy 5kg for one person to fit and move around site. Because it is a vertical clamp, it suits drums that need to stay on their base, not drums being tipped or decanted. The drum must have a lid for the clamp to bite on. Complies to AS 4991. Check the jaw and rim contact area for wear or spread before every lift.
