The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope Grip 6mm is a saddle clamp for forming a terminated eye or securing the tail on 6mm wire rope. This size takes 6mm wire and runs an M6 thread on the U-bolt, with a 31mm overall dimension, 20.5mm across the B measurement and 26.3mm on C. At 0.03kg it is a light fitting, so a handful barely registers in the toolbag.

Made from Grade 316 stainless, also called marine grade, it holds up in salt water and other harsh corrosive conditions far better than the cheaper grades. That makes it a sensible pick for boats, jetties, coastal balustrade work, plus food and pharmaceutical processing. One thing to be clear on, this grip is not rated for lifting and must not be used in a lifting application.
