The DLP Ring Bolt Lift Point M48 is a bolt-on lifting point for heavy loads, sized at the top end of the range with an M48 thread. The housing is compact, so it suits corners, edges and any spot where a bigger lifting point would foul on the load. The closed oblong link folds over the housing when the point is idle, which keeps it almost flush and out of the way between lifts.
Fitting and removal is done with a wrench on the hexagon bolt, which is RFID prepared. The bolt carries the working load limit, mounting torque and manufacturer ID, so the operator can check what they are working with before the lift. The stay-up function for easy on-hooking is fitted on sizes up to M24, so on this M48 you present the link to the hook by hand. Worth checking the tapped hole and torque before each use.
