About this product
The Beaver Drum Lifting Sling Assembly 1t is a four point drum lifter that picks up steel drums by the top rim and keeps them upright through the lift. It runs 7mm Grade 80 alloy chain at a 1t working load limit, with an oblong master link, chain connectors and drum hooks already made up. Chain length is 2.5m and the E dimension is 1139mm, sized around 200L drums.
At 4.5kg the whole assembly is easy enough to carry out to the crane or forklift and hook on without a second set of hands. The drum hooks suit drums with or without a lid, so one set covers most of what turns up on site. Before each use, run your eye over the chain, hooks and link for wear, stretch or damage, same as any other chain sling.
