The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope 7x7 in 1.6mm is a fine marine grade rope for fixed rigging jobs like balustrading and safety barrier rail. At 1.6mm it is the lightest option in the 7x7 range, with a minimum breaking force of 1.89kN and an approximate mass of 1.12kg per 100m, so it suits light infill runs and tensioned wire work where a heavier diameter would look clumsy.

Grade 316 stainless handles corrosion better than G304, which is why it gets used around boats, coastal sites and waste management gear. It also stands up in food and pharmaceutical processing work. The 7x7 construction is stiff rather than flexible, so keep it for static runs instead of anything that needs to bend over a sheave. Lay is right hand ordinary.
