The Beaver Metric Shouldered Eye Nut 24mm is a threaded lifting point that screws onto a 24mm stud or bolt to give you a fixed eye for slings, shackles or hooks. This size carries a 1.8t working load limit in straight line pull, with a transverse load rating of 0.45t when the pull comes off at an angle. It is rated to DIN 582.
The shoulder seats flat against the load, which is what lets it handle side loading rather than axial pull only. Dimensions are 90mm high and 90mm wide, with a 50mm eye body and a 20mm eye section, and it weighs 0.72kg. The zinc dichromate finish gives it some corrosion resistance for general site and workshop use. Step up or down through the range if your thread size differs.
