About this product
The Beaver Eye and Eye Commercial Turnbuckles - Galvanised 16mm is a forged steel tensioner for straight, inline pulls on wire rope and chain assemblies. At 16mm body size it sits in the upper half of the range, with a 250mm thread length and a 45.5mm eye dimension for larger shackles, thimbles and chain fittings.
Adjustment runs from 340mm closed out to 525mm open, so you get plenty of travel to pull up a stay or guy without swapping hardware. The eye width measures 24mm. The hot dipped galvanised finish holds up against rust and corrosion on outdoor and exposed work, and the same turnbuckle is also made in an electro plated finish if you want a lighter coating. Check the threads run free and the eyes are not opened up before each use.
