About this product
The Beaver Metric Shouldered Eye Nuts 8mm gives you a threaded lifting point on an M8 stud or bolt, ready to take a hook, shackle or sling. This is the smallest thread in the range, rated to a working load limit of 140kg, or 0.14t, in a straight vertical pull. Transverse loading drops that right back to 0.03t, so keep the pull in line with the eye wherever you can.
Body dimensions are 36mm high and 36mm wide, with a 20mm eye and an 8.5mm section through the ring. The zinc dichromate finish gives it a bit of corrosion resistance on site, and at 0.05kg it is easy to carry a few spares. Rated to DIN 582. Make sure the shoulder seats flat and hard against the load face before you take up any weight.
