About this product
The Beaver Hook and Eye Commercial Turnbuckle in galvanised 13mm is a tensioning fitting for straight or inline pulls on wire rope and chain assemblies. The 13mm thread sits in the middle of the range, with a take up from 265mm closed out to 415mm open, so you get 150mm of adjustment to pull the slack out of a run. Overall body length is 191mm, with a 16.5mm B dimension, 34mm at C and 14.5mm at D.
Forged steel through the body and end fittings, finished hot dipped galvanised to hold off rust in outdoor and coastal work. An electro plated version is also made if the job is undercover. This is a commercial turnbuckle, not rated for lifting, so keep it to tensioning and stay duty. Expect size and dimension tolerance of plus or minus 10 per cent. Weight works out at 50kg per 100 units.
