The Beaver Lifting Collared Eyebolt with 3/8" B.S.W. Thread is a screw-in lifting point for machinery, dies and fabricated items that need a rated eye rather than a welded lug. It carries a working load limit of 250kg on a straight vertical pull, with a transverse load rating of 0.06 tonne. The collar seats flush against the machined face and takes the side load off the shank. Beaver states this eyebolt complies to AS 2317.
At 32mm across the eye and 35mm overall height, it weighs just 0.055kg, so it is the pick where the load is light and the tapped hole is small. The finish is self colour, which means it is worth keeping an eye on rust if the eyebolt lives outdoors or gets washed down. Check the thread and the seating face each time before you load it, and keep the pull in line with the shank.
