About this product
The Beaver Commercial Chain Swivels 22mm is an eye and eye swivel that lets a chain or rope turn freely instead of winding up on itself. It is the heaviest option in the range at 22mm thickness and 2.5kg, so it suits jobs where the gear is sized up and the chain is doing real work on the ground. Important point to note: this is a commercial swivel and it is not suitable for lifting applications.
Both eyes are closed, so it sits inline in a run of chain to take the twist out. The galvanised finish gives it a bit of protection against the weather, handy for yard gear, gates, anchor and mooring setups, or livestock and general chain work. Check the eyes and the barrel for wear and free rotation before you put it back in service.
