The Beaver Jaw and Jaw Rigging Screws with Locknuts 20mm is a straight line tensioner for wire rope and chain assemblies, rated to a 1.25t working load limit. The 20mm thread size sits in the middle of the range, giving you a decent step up in capacity without the bulk of the larger sizes. Body length is 229mm, with 387mm between jaw centres closed and 550mm fully open, so there is plenty of take up for straining a long run.
Both ends are jaw fittings, which suits shackle free connection straight to fabricated lugs or eyes. Made from Grade L high tensile material, quenched and tempered, with a hot dipped galvanised finish for outdoor and exposed work. Jaw opening is 22mm and pin diameter 16mm. It weighs 2.2kg.
