The DLP Ring Bolt Lift Point M30 is a bolt-on lifting point for loads needing a heavier thread size, and it earns its keep where space is tight. The housing is compact, so it sits happily in a corner or hard against an edge without fouling. When the point is idle, the oblong link folds flat over the housing and all but disappears, which keeps it out of the way during machining, transport or storage.
Fitting and removal is done with a wrench on the hexagon bolt, which is RFID prepared. The bolt carries its own markings for working load limit, mounting torque and manufacturer ID, so the crew on the job can check what they are rigging to without chasing paperwork. Note the stay-up function on the closed link is fitted to sizes up to M24, so the M30 does not have it.
