About this product
The Beaver VC Vertical Plate Clamp 3t is a vertical lifting clamp for picking up and turning steel plate, structural steel, crane girders, beams and steel pipe. This is the 3t size in the range, with a jaw opening of 0-50mm, so it handles thicker plate than the lighter models while still gripping thin sections. Body dimensions run 210mm across B, 99.5mm on C, 336mm on D and 60mm on E, at 14.0kg/pc.
Clamping force builds in proportion to the weight of the load, so the grip tightens as the lift comes on. The cam and jaws are drop forged and heat treated alloy steel for grip and long service, and the steel body is built for heavy work. A spring loaded safety lock holds the jaws on the plate before the load takes up. Proof load tested at time of manufacture and complies to AS4991.
