About this product
The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Hook and Eye Turnbuckle with Lock Nuts in 9mm is a tensioning adjuster for wire rope, stays and fencing runs where you need to pull the slack out by hand. This size takes a 9mm thread, measures 259mm overall with a take-up of 151.5mm, and weighs 0.29kg. The eye end is M10, the hook opening is 16mm and the body section measures 12.5mm.
Made from marine grade 316 stainless steel, so it holds up in salt air, wash-down areas and other harsh corrosive conditions. One end runs a left-hand thread and the other a right-hand thread, so turning the frame draws both ends in and tensions the line. The lock nuts then hold that setting. Note that this turnbuckle is not to be used for lifting applications.
