About this product
The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Long Dee Shackle 10mm is a screw pin dee shackle for marine rigging and other wet or corrosive work where plain steel would rust out. It is made from polished marine grade stainless steel, Grade 316, with a 10mm body diameter, a 75.5mm long inside length and a 20.8mm jaw width. The long body is the point of difference here, giving you more room to stack thimbles, rope or sail hardware than a standard dee.
This is the larger of the two sizes in the range, and at 0.16kg it stays easy to handle up a mast or on a shade sail corner. The screw pin means you can open and close it by hand and swap fittings without tools. Grade 316 also suits food and pharmaceutical processing and agricultural use. Note that this shackle is not to be used for lifting.
