About this product
The Beaver Eye and Eye Commercial Turnbuckle in 8mm is a forged steel tensioner for straight, inline pull on wire rope and chain assemblies. This is the lighter end of the range, suited to guy wires, fence and mesh straining, and bracing jobs where you need fine adjustment without a lot of bulk. Body length sits at 123mm, with an 11mm eye section and 22mm across the eye.
Adjustment runs from 250mm fully open to 166mm closed, giving you 84mm of take-up to pull the slack out and hold tension. The hot dipped galvanised finish handles rust and corrosion, so it works outdoors and around coastal or wash-down areas. An electro plated finish is also made in this pattern if the job calls for it. Wind both eyes in evenly and keep some thread engaged at each end.
