About this product
The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope Thimble 10mm sits inside a soft eye to stop the rope crushing or kinking where it takes load. This is the 10mm wire size, with a 56.4mm overall length, 50mm width and a 27mm groove dimension, so it matches 10mm wire rope properly rather than leaving the eye loose. D is 14.6mm and E is 12mm. Weight is around 0.03kg.
Made from Grade 316 stainless, the marine grade, it handles corrosive conditions far better than standard fittings. That makes it a sensible pick for boats, jetties, coastal fencing and balustrade work, plus food and pharmaceutical processing where washdown is constant.
