The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Quick Link 6mm is a screw-gate link for joining or repairing chain by hand, no tools required. At 6mm thickness it is the larger of the two sizes in the range, so it suits heavier chain and fittings than the smaller option. Body length runs 61.5mm with a 27mm width, a 9.5mm gate section and a 21mm internal opening.
Grade 316 stainless steel is the reason these get used around salt water, wash-down bays and anywhere corrosion chews through plain steel. The eye sits within the hook, so the hook can be angled differently to the rope or chain it connects to. Each link weighs 0.03kg. Keep the sleeve wound up fully hand tight and check it stays that way under load.
