The Beaver G304 PVC Coated Stainless Steel Wire Rope 7x7 5mm is the heaviest of the three sizes in this range, with a minimum breaking force of 16.44kN and an approximate mass of 11.65kg/100m. It runs a 7x7 construction in Grade 304 stainless, right hand ordinary lay, under a white PVC cover. The extra diameter gives you more strength where balustrade runs are long or spans need to stay tight.
Grade 304 is the standard stainless grade and handles corrosion well, though it has limits in the harshest environments. That makes it a sensible pick for marine work, waste management sites and general outdoor use. The 7x7 build is stiff rather than flexible, so keep it to fixed rigging such as balustrading and safety barrier rail rather than anything that runs over a sheave. The PVC keeps hands and finishes clear of the strand.
