The Beaver UC Universal Plate Clamp 3t is a vertical plate clamp for lifting and turning steel plate, with a hinged lifting eye that lets you take the load from any direction. This size takes plate from 0-28mm in the jaw, sitting in the middle of the range where most structural plate work lands. Working load limit is 3t. Overall it measures 415mm in height with a 210mm body width and a 98mm dimension across, and it weighs 15kg, so it is a two hand lift onto the plate.
All steel construction throughout, with a hardened pressure plate and tongue to keep the bite consistent over time. A safety lock holds the clamp closed on the plate. The wide jaw suits broad plates, and the E dimension of 71mm gives you the throat clearance for it. Use it only on steel with a hardness up to 37RC (345 Brinell). Complies to AS4991.
