The Beaver Hook and Eye Commercial Turnbuckle in electro plated finish is a tensioning fitting for straight or inline pull, and this is the 6mm thread size, the lightest of the three in the range at 16kg per 100 units. The hook end lets you hitch onto an existing chain link or eye without breaking down the assembly, and the eye end takes a shackle or thimble. Handy on wire rope and chain runs where you need to take up slack and hold it.
Body and end fittings are forged steel, so the 6mm size still handles a decent pull for guy lines, fencing and general tie back work. The electro plated coating gives it a level of rust and corrosion protection for sheds and undercover jobs. Exposed coastal or mine site work suits the hot dipped galvanised version better. Not to be used for lifting applications.
