The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope Thimble 4mm lines the eye of a 4mm wire rope so the rope holds its shape and doesn't crush or kink where it bears. It's the smallest end of the range, matched to 4mm wire with a 5.2mm groove and a 6.6mm channel width, measuring 27.8mm by 24.8mm overall with an 11mm inside length. Weight is 0.008kg, so it adds nothing noticeable to a light rope assembly.

Made from Grade 316 stainless, known as marine grade, it holds up in salt water and coastal air far better than lower grades. That makes it a sensible pick for boat rigging, jetty work and any job where spray and damp are constant. It also suits food and pharmaceutical processing applications. Note this fitting is not to be used for lifting.
