The Beaver B-Alloy Concrete Lifting Clutch 5t connects to a precast pin cast into a concrete panel so the panel can be lifted, tilted and set. This is the 5 tonne size in the range, a middle option that handles heavier wall panels and slabs without the bulk of the larger clutches. It weighs around 3.24kg, with an overall length of 278mm and a jaw opening of 18mm at K.
Engagement is designed to happen under load, provided the connection is made correctly, and release is quick once the panel is landed. Each clutch is marked with the WLL, batch ID, date of manufacture and a unique serial number, and comes with a load test certificate. Complies to AS3850.1. Check the body and locking action for wear or damage before every shift.
