The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Chain - Short Link 8mm is a general purpose chain in Grade 316 stainless, built for jobs where corrosion is the main enemy. It is the heavier of the two sizes in the range, with 8mm material, a 25.6mm inside length and a 40mm outside width. That extra bar diameter gives you more body to work with on gates, barriers, moorings and boat work where a thinner chain would fret away.
At 74.8m per 100kg, it is easy to work out how much chain you are handling before it goes on the truck. Grade 316 holds up well in salt air and wash-down areas, which is why it gets used around marine gear and coastal sites. One thing to be clear on: this is not lifting chain. Keep it to non lifting applications and use a rated lifting chain where loads are being picked.
