The Beaver Metric Shouldered Eye Nut 12mm is a threaded lifting point that screws onto a 12mm stud or bolt to give you an anchor for a hook, shackle or sling. It carries a working load limit of 0.3t, or 300kg, with a transverse load rating of 0.07 tonne when the pull comes off the vertical. This is the 12mm thread size in the range, the one you reach for on lighter loads where a bigger eye nut is overkill.
The eye measures 30mm inside with 11mm section, and the body stands 52mm tall and 54mm wide, so there is room for a decent hook bite. Zinc dichromate finish keeps surface rust off in the yard. At 0.16kg it is easy to carry a few spares. Rated to DIN 582. Always seat the shoulder flush against the load face and load it in line where you can.
