The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Carbine (Carabina) Eye Hook 8mm is a spring gate snap hook for connecting rope, chain and fittings quickly without tools. At 8mm thickness it sits in the middle of the range, measuring 80mm overall with a 40.5mm body width, a 10mm gate opening and a 10.8mm fixed eye. Weight is 0.06kg, so it adds next to nothing to a rope end.

Grade 316 marine stainless gives it good corrosion resistance where saltwater, spray or constant washdown would pit a plated hook. That also makes it a sensible pick for food and pharmaceutical processing gear.
