About this product
The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Hook and Eye Turnbuckle with Lock Nuts in 4mm is the smallest thread size in the range, made for fine tensioning jobs on light wire, netting and stay lines. It runs an M4 thread with a closed length of 110mm, a 61.5mm body, 9mm across the frame and an 8mm eye, and weighs in at 0.02kg. Grade 316 stainless throughout, so it holds up in salt air and other harsh corrosive environments.
One end carries a left-hand thread and the other a right-hand thread. Turning the frame draws both bolts in together, shortening the unit and pulling tension into whatever it is attached to. The lock nuts then hold that setting so it does not wind loose with vibration or movement. The hook end makes it quick to connect and release. Not to be used for lifting applications.
