The Beaver VC Vertical Plate Clamp 2t grips steel plate for vertical lifting and turning, with a jaw opening of 0 to 40mm. That range suits mid thickness plate, so it sits between the lighter and heavier clamps in the Beaver VC line. Clamping force builds in proportion to the weight of the load, and the clamp bites from the start of the lift rather than part way through it. Each clamp weighs 7.5kg.
Body is heavy duty steel, with a drop forged and heat treated alloy steel cam and jaws for grip and service life. A spring loaded safety lock holds the jaws in place while you set up. Dimensions run 170mm across B, 82.5mm on C, 297mm on D and 60mm on E. Proof load tested at manufacture and complies to AS4991.
