The Beaver Lifting Collared Eyebolt with UNC Thread 5/8" is a screw-in lifting point for machinery, dies, motors and fabricated items that need a rated attachment. This size runs a 5/8" UNC thread with a working load limit of 800kg in straight vertical lift, and 0.2 tonne when the load comes on at an angle across the collar. It complies to AS 2317.
Key dimensions are a 52mm eye width, 24mm eye opening and a 36mm collar diameter, with a 14mm thread length and overall height of 58mm. Total weight is 0.27kg, so it is easy to carry a few in the toolbox. Finish is self colour, which means it wants a wipe of oil and dry storage to keep surface rust off. Check the threads and tapped hole seat the collar flat before every lift.
